How do I know if my project is the right fit? ↓Wireframes are where the biggest product decisions are made.
A wireframe review is an independent assessment of your early concepts before visual design or development begins.
The focus isn’t on colours, branding or aesthetics. It’s about reviewing structure, layout, navigation, user journeys and interaction patterns to identify where users are likely to struggle while ideas are still cheap to change.
The goal is to improve confidence, reduce delivery risk and ensure your team moves into design with stronger foundations.
Validate the experience before investing time refining the interface.
Independent UX feedback helps teams align around evidence rather than assumptions.
Identify unnecessary friction before it becomes part of the finished product.
Resolve usability issues while changes are still quick, inexpensive and easy to make.
Wireframes are where the biggest product decisions are made.
They’re quick to change, inexpensive to iterate and the best place to challenge assumptions before design and development begin.
My reviews focus on how people are likely to use the product rather than how polished the wireframes look. By combining UX, user research and product thinking, I help identify unnecessary complexity, improve user journeys and strengthen design decisions while they’re still easy to change.
The result is a stronger foundation for the rest of the project and greater confidence before moving into the next stage of delivery.

Every Wireframe Review focuses on the early structure of a single product, feature or user journey before visual design begins. Typical examples include: • Wireframes for a new marketing website. • A SaaS onboarding flow. • Checkout or lead generation journeys. • A mobile application before UI design. • New product features still in Discovery. Larger or more complex projects are usually better suited to a bespoke engagement.
Wireframes are where the most important product decisions are made. Reviewing them early helps identify usability issues before visual design or development begins.
Low, mid and high-fidelity wireframes can all be reviewed provided they clearly communicate the intended structure and user journeys.
No. A Wireframe Review provides an expert assessment, while user research provides evidence from real users. The two approaches complement each other.
I’m based in Manchester, UK and work with organisations across the UK, Europe and internationally. Most projects are delivered remotely, although I’m happy to travel for workshops, stakeholder sessions and key project milestones where required.
Yes. Most projects are delivered remotely using Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Zoom. Working remotely allows me to support organisations across the UK and internationally while remaining flexible and cost-effective.
Yes. Every project is delivered by me. If additional specialist support is ever needed, I’ll discuss it with you first, but you’ll always work directly with me throughout the project.
Absolutely. Many clients already have designers, researchers, developers or product managers in place. I can provide additional capacity, independent advice or senior support without disrupting the way your team already works.
No. I’ve worked with startups, SMEs, agencies, charities, public sector organisations and global enterprises. Every engagement is tailored to the size, complexity and goals of the organisation.
The fixed engagements are designed around the most common types of engagement. If your project requires something different, I’ll create a bespoke proposal based on your goals, timescales and scope.
Availability varies throughout the year, but many fixed engagements can begin within one to two weeks. If you have an urgent requirement, let me know and I’ll always do my best to accommodate it.
Yes. Much of my work has involved commercially sensitive products, government services and confidential research. I’m happy to sign NDAs and regularly work with organisations where confidentiality is essential.

I had a fantastic experience working with Andy. One of his most impressive achievements during our time at NHS HEE was masterminding a deeply complex information architecture for a new platform that brought together a large number of legacy websites.
